Last night I had my first night’s sleep in a week (but it seems sooo much longer) my bed without one single bed bug bite!

I think after my original dusting and spraying with the chemicals my landlord purchased off the pest control people, and then a second (and deeper) round of spraying and dusting by my landlord yesterday, we have succeeded in ridding my apartment of those critters!

I’ll continue to monitor of course and my landlord has already agreed that in the event the bugs reappear we’ll have to call in the bug busters. My landlord even suggested that I go out and buy new white sheets and pillows yesterday and that he would reimburse me for them. Good on him! It took a bit of prodding (ok and a bit of a debate on Monday morning) to get his support but he got there in the end :)

I’m looking forward to another bug free slumber tonight!
