I Appreciate 10.06.09

On this fine afternoon in Montreal I appreciate…
- The sun for coming out after a rainy start this morning. The world is much brighter when it’s not dark and gloomy outside my window.
- The rain staying away as I rode to and from the hospital this morning to get some blood tests done.
- That special person in my life who encouraged me to get a health check up. Thanks for the reminder that health is important. Regular check ups and ongoing maintenance is the best way to ensure that I am enjoying life instead of spending it in a hospital being sick. Besides, having ten plus containers filled up with my blood (thank goodness I can watch blood being extracted from me without feeling queasy these days!), and needing to pee into two cups and one test tube is certainly an experience I do not have on a regular basis! So it makes for a funny story
- The cute admin person at the hospital who giggled with slight embarrassment after she had to pause for a second before working out the word that she wanted to say in English to me was “pee” (as in “When was the last time you went to pee?”)
- Internet technology – having the ability to access a wealth of information as quick as I can say “Google” is truly amazing.
- The yummy barley noir Evelyn’s Crackers (given to me by Michelle with other cool gifts from the Toronto Brick Works where she works), leftover brie, and newly purchased Havarti cheese that I snacked on before I started typing this. Followed by a piece of Nestle’s Intense chocolate, life is certainly good!
- The many exciting ideas and opportunities that I am presented with to continue attracting financial abundance and wealth to me. Money flows easily and effortlessly to me!
- My totally awesome room mate Lauren who arrived home early from work today to study for an exam that she has tomorrow, but due to some stress surrounding her recent condo purchase came to me for financial advice. We ended up having an engaging conversation about money management and shared similar stories about our parents and their lack of financial education. I really enjoyed having somebody to talk finance with, and being able to share my experience and feel of service lifted my spirits greatly when I was feeling a little deflated earlier.
- My Miso – the soul who inspires me, grounds me, teaches me, laughs with me, supports me, loves me, challenges me, and constantly reminds me to be conscious and aware of mind, body, spirit, heart and soul. Every moment we spend together is precious and I feel blessed to have found somebody I am connected with on so many levels.
