Looking up and moving forward
04Apr09
So the last couple of weeks have been a frenzy, to put it mildly.
Let’s see:
- Learning about affiliate marketing
- Launching My Positive Inspiration Newsletter
- Networking with people here in Toronto – I met a guy who lives down my street who is a former national hockey league player and owned a $6bil company at one time! His latest gig is network marketing and man the product he’s involved with kicks serious a$$ – not sure if I’ll get involved right now as I need to focus on my three businesses;
- Preparing my material for my coaching business (which means digging in to my old training folders and listening to the training CDs again);
- Packing and cleaning my apartment for my move to Montreal on Monday;
- Getting root canal surgery done one day, and then a permanent filling and cleaning done two days later;
- Trying to work out what to do with my visa status which limits me to work only with HP who I no longer work for, and the Canadian Immigration Center call center is not too helpful when I cannot talk to a real person!
- Discovering that my landlord had canceled the cable TV with Rogers which I had since promised to my new tenants who are subletting my place in Toronto whilst I’m away and consequently organizing a next day (and free) installation with Rogers (completed yesterday, and promptly too which is pretty awesome considering the bad rap Rogers gets) and negotiating for the landlord to pay most of the monthly subscription (I basically pay $10 per month for the VIP package woohoo!);
- Attending a 4 hour Stock Course trading basics webinar last night, and so much more!

The life of an entrepreneur is certainly busy!
I also managed to spend an hour on Friday doing some fun stuff – playing model with photographer Jon Anthony Mitchell who kindly took photos for me as I wanted some “entrepreneur” shots for my business activities.
Here’s the complete series:
My new tenants will be here in two hours so it’s back to work!
