After getting to bed at 12:30am, four hours later I was up and on my bike. Yes, I’m insane.

Actually I joined three other insane people, after stopping by a gas station to pump up my flat back tire, downtown at McCaul and College Streets for a sunrise bike ride.

We rode through University of Toronto, through the Philosopher’s Walk, then headed East on Bloor past the Royal Ontario Museum, onto the Prince Edward Viaduct bridge where we stopped for the sunrise.

After admiring the brilliance of a radiant morning sun we rode to Tim Hortons on Parliament Street for a quick coffee, and then to Riverdale Park/Farm where we parted ways.

I then took a leisurely ride home, stopping at a couple of parks to watch the early risers performing their morning ritual of tai chi at Riverdale Park East and Withrow Park. Before arriving home I got some banking done and bought some groceries all before 10am. Wow this has got to be the most productive Saturday I’ve had in a long time!

It was DEFINITELY worth getting up at 4:30am for!
