So this morning Nadja, Neesa and I got up at 5:30am (the girls slept over) and headed to the beach to catch the sunrise. I actually woke up at 4:30am and then realised that the sun was forecasted to rise at 6:02 am . We took mini croissants, jam, peanut butter, some chocolate spread, a tarp, and our cameras. Breakfast on the beach at sunrise was the plan, and I’m glad to say well executed.
Initially we were worried that we’d miss the sunrise but soon we saw the sun coming up from the east from behind the beach. It was splendid. With Nadja leaving our shores soon to return to Germany to study (*sniff*), I’m glad that Neesa and I had this opportunity to share such a special moment with her.
Here are my pics:
The whole idea was inspired by Garry’s previous sunrise shoot.
