How many times have you heard it? "Nice guys always finish last".
For a long while I agreed with that sentiment. Why? Because I’m usually the nice guy. Mistreating women and being a total bad ass isn’t my style. Never has, never will be.
So it always amazed me why back in high school the girl that I had a crush on always went for guys that were total jerks. Even today that trend continues out in the "adult" world.
Ever heard of the "Ladder Theory"? Though the author claims it was created for laughs and social observation I think there is some truth to it. Perhaps you female readers can comment on its validity.
Back on topic, Kim Conant posted an article about why women love bad boys and it’s an interesting read. Check it out, yes even you too fellas.
Makes me wonder, do women ever tire of the bad boys?
Funnily enough there’s a thread on this topic on Tranceaddict.com and a great statement made by one of the posters was this…
I’ve heard so many women say its hard to find a nice guy….good rule of thumb though….the guys you call friends….those are the nice guys.
Never a truer word spoken!
So going back to the idea that nice guys always finish last, I have seen several examples over the past 20 months and even as recent as within the past two months to suggest that it’s not always true. Some good mates of mine are married or soon to be married and they’ve attracted for themselves some wonderful partners.
It’s all about being clear about what you want and going for it. The same applies to all those girls who complain about bad boys being… well… bad.
Here’s a practical guide on how to attract an amazing partner. It was written by a mate of mine who used it in his own life and consequently attracted somebody truly special. Check it out. We could all learn a thing or two from his experience.
A word to the nice guys out there (including myself)… be clear about what it is you want and then go for it. You really have nothing to lose and a whole lot to gain
