This is so intentionally cheesy it’s brilliant. Beware the flash backs from the 80’s!

From the movie "Music & Lyrics" starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. I saw it on the plane on the flight home from LA. It’s a nice feel good romantic comedy, and the music soundtrack for it is great!

Microsoft demos mind-bending photo app

If you haven’t seen the demo, see it now (http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/129). In March, at the annual Technology, Education, Design (TED) conference in Monterrey, California, Microsoft Live Labs took the wraps off a mind-bending digital photo app called Seadragon, and you can now stream a video of this not-to-be-missed demo from the TED website (http://www.ted.com). Coupled with Photosynth, another project in the works at Live Labs, Seadragon could take Google’s much-discussed StreetView idea to a whole new level.

At the moment, both Seadragon and Photosynth are still in the research stage - only a simple "tech preview" of Photosynth is available to the web at large (http://labs.live.com/photosynth). But in the very near future, this could lead to a Microsoft Live application that extends Google StreetView to its logical conclusion.

Hmm I might have to start saving for one of those screens in the near future so I can use this app!
