If you haven’t seen the original version of “The Secret” then you might not have come across Esther Hicks (and her husband Jerry) or Abraham. Esther and Jerry (and Abraham) were edited out of the extended (more recent) version of the DVD due to a difference in vision between producer Rhonda Byrne and Abraham-Hicks.

The whole sequence of events was quite unfortunate. As I’m sure any viewer of the original Secret would agree - the teachings of Abraham-Hicks ont he law of attraction and their appearance in the original “Secret” were very powerful. Having seen both, I think the extended edition with Lisa Nichols paraphrasing statements/concepts made previously by Abraham falls somewhat short in delivery. Hearing Lisa Nichols’ speak just doesn’t come across as authentic.

Additionally, here is footage that never made it to the final edit of the original DVD due to its content. Apparently the use of the word “vibration” was deemed inappropriate for TV audiences.
