What would happen if you followed someone around for 100 days as they put Universal Laws & Principles into practice? Laws such as: the Law of Attraction, Law of Deliberate Creation and the Laws of Prosperity and Abundance.

Commencing soon… the 100 days challenge.

Email from Iinet received this morning:

Dear Mr,

Your new broadband service is now active!

If you have bundled with phone or VOIP, they will be activated shortly.

Woohoo!!

First order of business was of course to connect to my brand spanking new ADSL2+ account with my recently firmware upgraded (to be ADSL2+ compliant) D-Link DSL-G604T ADSL router. Successful!

Like any geek I needed to test out the line speeds:

It’s safe to say that the upgrade to ADSL2+ was definitely worth it!

I also upgraded my wordpress theme and fixed the IE comment posting issue.

Today is already a great day :)

The best things in life come in threes, like friends, dreams, and memories.– Unknown

The beauty of being the social photographer amongst my circle(s) of friends is that I’ve been able to maintain a chronological catalogue of events past and present. From time to time I like to take a stroll through  memory lane, which is in fact a stack of cds and folders on my hard drive, and remind myself of the good times. I’ve also spent the best part of today putting together little film strips of memories and sharing them with my friends. I find happiness in the sharing of memories.

As of late I’ve forgotten to take my camera along to outings, which could also been seen as a reflection of my present mind state ie. lost. Perhaps it’s one of thoes periods that I go through where I get tired of taking photos as well as the expectation from others that "Anf will have his camera". No I think the last occurrence was more a case of the former than the latter. I haven’t the lost the passion of being an amateur photographer, well maybe a bit, however I gradually gather my thoughts about who I was and who I want to be (and where the camera fits in the whole scheme of things).

Some moments aren’t captured on a camera.

We often remember the big moments that define who we are, our achievements, and that are socially accepted as "important" or "memorable". Case example: graduation or the wedding day. I don’t disagree that big moments are obviously worth remembering, however I think that our lives are defined by the little moments too.

Here I’d like to capture some of those little moments:

- Falling off my bike last Thursday afternoon and scraping my left knee (it hurt the next day or two but it was oh so funny at the time).

- Falling asleep on the couch whilst watching television with my mother (who was sporting my navy blue "tranceaddict" t-shirt - hilarious!) one evening last week. The couch is actually not long enough for me to fully stretch out so I always end up in this semi-foetal and totally uncomfortable position.

- Picking up my little cousin in both my hands and spinning her around like an airplane whilst pretending to be some great WWF (now known as "WWE") wrestler. That same cousin just turned twenty and is attending university. I can’t believe how fast time flies.

Our dreams must be stronger than our memories. We must be pulled by our dreams, rather than pushed by our memories. — Jesse Jackson

Indeed.

I’m on 28.8 k dialup at the moment, until my ADSL2+ is connected (which may take up to a week from what iinet have told me), and I’m just about ready to kill somebody. What’s even worse is that I’m sharing this crappy connection with my dad who is in the other room LOL. I can’t believe how this was once the standard!

Oh well… slow internet is better than no internet :)
