Step into REELANIME and slip into the smoothest, coolest animation to hit the screens this year! Madman and Dendy Cinemas are proud to present an animation festival that will prove these films are definitely not just for kids.

This year the showcase is bigger than ever, including Appleseed, an awesome display of the very best in CGI animation, Millennium Actress, from the director of Perfect Blue, Satoshi Kon and Escaflowne: The Movie, based on the phenomenal anime series of the same name.

The highlight of the showcase, however, is the eagerly anticipated Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, directed by the award-winning Mamoru Oshii and nominated for the Palm d’Or award at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival. Playing for the first time in Australian cinemas, it is accompanied by its hugely successful predecessor, Ghost in the Shell.
