April 2005

Alright!

From ChartAttack.com: Sending a notice to all 18-year-old girls — Backstreet’s truly back. Just when the last bit of pre-pubescent, boy band craze was finally drowning out, The Backstreet Boys have fought through rehab, unsuccessful solo careers and media downpour to try and reclaim their title as top boy band. Shouldn’t be too tough since no others exist anymore.

Gotta love that last line :P

EDIT: I just heard an album sampler and the first single “incomplete” is unimpressive. The other tracks “my beautiful woman”, “climbing the walls”, and “the unloved” are uninspiring. Seems to be a more rockier edge. Perhaps that’s their new sound? “Never Gone” and “Over Her” are ballads worth looking out for, similar to the Backstreet ballads of previous albums.

My life is ruined.

Not.

But damn, nice catch there Tommy boy!

18.00 - Finish work (30 mins later than I had intended)

18.30 - After unoficially working and standing around talking to one of my team members finally get down the car and switch shoes

18.45 - Changed into gym gear and hit the gym

20.00 - End gym session. Legs today. They feel like they’re about to fall off.

20.40 - Swing by Miss M’s. Copy Starland Vocal Band - Afternoon Delight (and a few other things) onto my 1GB USB drive. I watched Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy last night. Hilarious!! The scene where the four news guys sing Afternoon Delight was just awesome. So I had to get the song.

21.00 - Arrive at home. Shower. Dinner whilst reminiscing about 2004 europe trip on irc with a couple of the guys.

23.30 - Teeth brushed. Feeling drowsy. Haven’t done anything productive since I arrived home.

Where has all the time gone?!

Sleep now.
