I had a whole post in the works that involved an investigation into the continuing fall and fall of NSW’s CityRail network but I lost it during my host switch so meh. Maybe when I could be bothered after my short trip to the Gold Coast.

I actually took the above photo at the station opposite my workplace last december. I was on my way to a dinner with mates after work that day. The train that I was supposed to catch didn’t come, and then this huge ass tree fell onto the track. The worst thing was that the attendant didn’t make any announcement, so people were standing around wondering “wtf!”.

He didn’t communicate to central control, or whoever, to switch the incoming train onto another track. Idiot. So then the train pulls up behind the tree 15 mins later, and is stuck there for who knows how long. I had already called a friend and was picked up and on my way by then.

At no point throughout the entire ordeal did CityRail make an announcement, or provide any updates or ETAs to the passengers and commuters. Worst display of customer service that I’d witnessed in a long time.

Served me right for thinking that it’d be quicker and more convenient going by train. the train into work in the morning was delayed also.

Sounded good to me so…

Who wants to buy my shit?

Eh? C’mon folks. No need to be shy!

I seriously don’t expect to see any bids on my item. It’s more of an experiment to see if anybody would be interested in a box of old C64 games. As the listing is free, I can’t lose!

By the way, here’s a tutorial on how to write an eBay auction listing.

Stayed home last night, pretty much all day so naturally I was bored.

I’ve been completely buggered the past week.

Just a lot of stuff happening, and people keep telling me that I look stressed. No surprising because I feel stressed.

My work hours this past week…

Wed: 8.30am - 7pm
Thu: 8.30am - 7pm

Mon: 8.30am - 7pm
Tue: 8.30am - 9pm
Wed: 8.30am - 7pm

I get home, and soon after I’m pretty much ready for bed by 11pm.

So…

no updating my website,
no updating the blog,
no researching anything,
no reading anything,
no emails.

Just shower, eat, sleep.
